I forget sometimes, I love
to write rather than fight.
Peace draws me in to a place in
my mind that explodes.
Life has more meaning when
I’m thinking about nothing but words.
Like an enjoyable cool drink
on a hot summer day

We are like dandelions blowing in the wind
Breaking free, scattered
Drifting but never really knowing our
True purpose in life
We settle wherever the wind blows
To a life of contentment
With fragments of light in the darkness
Which brings hope joy and happiness
Wishing for dreams that will come true
Where the fragments of light will
Overcome the darkness
Grow stronger like the dandelions
Firmly holding on refusing to be swept up
Wherever the wind blows
But rooted with a sense of purpose.
