Some things are out of your control no matter how hard you try..
In life, when doing your best is just not good enough it’s time to surrender. What’s a person to do?
When you try your best to take care of your family and you feel like you’re being pulled in different directions, surrender. You may feel at times doing your best is just not good enough.
When you’re working hard to build a new or old relationship and your best is just not good enough, surrender.
When you work hard at your job and no matter how much you contribute, your boss is never happy with your work, surrender.
When you’re studying and working hard at school to do your best and your teacher or Professor gives you a low grade, surrender.
To all those struggling to do their best…
What the heck, sometimes your best is just not good enough so go ahead and surrender..
Surrender to the fact that no one is perfect so all you can give is your best.
Have peace knowing there are some things you can’t change and others you can depending on the circumstances.
Surrender, learn to let it go or it will get the best of you if you allow it to destroy your thinking.
Make the necessary changes in order to be effective and happy with who you are and your contributions.
Then surrender and be happy knowing you have done all that you can possibly do in any given situation.
If your best is still not good enough, hang in there and surrender, turn it over to the God above and have serenity knowing you have done your best.

I have asked myself that question so many times. Why do we write? When I saw this quote, my perspective as to why I write changed.
I believe we all have the ability to change the world. Picking up a pen to write your thoughts in order to inspire change, is just one way to help others take action.
Writing is a creative outlet for people who love to express themselves through the power of the written word. I started writing many years ago for my own benefit. When I was concerned about different aspects of my life, I used writing as an outlet to release the thoughts which consumed my mind.
However I learned a very important lesson as my writing developed, It’s not about me, but the power of the written word to encourage and help others. My desire was also to share my experiences to reshape the way people think about themselves in relation to the world.
We all can learn from one another whether it’s through poetry, fiction and non fiction, biographies and self development books. Writing is an art form that can inspire change.
So, why do you write? Is it to educate, teach, share life’s lessons, or other reasons? To be honest, it really doesn’t matter as long as you are writing to be inspirational in some capacity. If you can get people to think about their world, and the role they play in it, your job is done.
Another reason why we write is our stinking thinking sometimes gets the best of us and we fall prey to all kinds of negative emotions. The impact is great as it reduces our ability to move forward even for a short time.
Through our thoughts and emotions, writers have the ability to impact our world. We all use different methods and way of getting your attention. However our reasons are vast and as a group, we have made a large dent in how people view their world.
Stop! Think for a moment and ask yourself one question. How can I use my writing to change the world?
