Let me not walk in

Darkness

But in the light

Open My eyes

So I may gain wisdom

When I marvel at your words

Open my eyes

So I can walk in peace

As I pray for your guidance

Open my eyes

So I will not be misled

By those who surround me

Open my eyes

So I can read your word

And walk in the way of truth

Open my eyes

To God’s guiding light in my life

So I may not be blinded

Open my eyes

So I may be blessed

With the ability to discern

Truth from lies

Grant me the courage

To stay on course

So I may be a doer

And not just a

hearer of the written word.

May God be Praised

We all have the power to change, if we only beleive. Life can be tough, and it sometimes gets the best of us day-to-day. However, we have to continue to believe in our hearts, we have the power within to change our destiny. No matter how long it takes anything is possible. Dream your dreams and keep on living a life of purpose.

why are we here 2Peace is a state of mind, which has a different meaning to those who genuinely seek it.

Peace is freedom from distraction, focusing on the beauty of life

Peace is love and being loved

Peace is the stillness of the morning on a bright sunny day, being still and enjoying the sunlight coming through the windows.

Peace is refraining from battles with those you come in contact with, a coworker, children friends or your spouse.

Peace is looking at the waves crashing on the beach time and time again, looking far and wide at the ocean that lays ahead.

Peace is tranquility, silence in a pure moment of surrender to this vast universe, observing all Gods creation and marveling at his creativity.

Peace is standing tall at the top of a mountain, screaming at the top of your lungs, feeling the wind blowing through your hair, and the freedom of just being, breathing and taking in the sites.

Peace is being in harmony with the world around you, not destroying but living harmoniously.

Peace is silence in prayer, praying for God’s blessing, healing and direction.

Peace is being still and meditating in God’s word.

Peace is believing God exist, creator of the universe, his unconditional love and gift of salvation. Knowing he is the same yesterday, today and always.

Nuggets of Truth: May the Lord of peace give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

why me 3I’ve asked myself this question many times throughout my life and I am perplexed at the answer. I believe God created us for specific reasons, and I know one of my spiritual gifts is to encourage those that God has placed in my path who needs uplifting in their time of need.
