REALITY CHECK

reality check 2Reality is the state or quality of being real thus clarifying the state of your life. Changing your reality is more than just working towards chasing your dreams. It’s also about an expression of thought and mind; a wake up in consciousness of the world you live in. We all live in different realities or situations around the globe. Some people live in turmoil while others live in splendor. Waking up to the truth about these other realities will give you a broader perspective, and if possible, direct you to other areas where you can really make a difference in changing your world. LIVING WITH PASSION

Recently, I saw a program on PBS featuring Eric Clapton in concert. I never knew anything about his music but suddenly I was captivated by his songs and the passion in which he sang. Hanging on his every word with joy touched my soul, Mr. Clapton sang the song called Tears in Heaven. He gives through his music and we receive the benefits. If you ever want to get a glimpse of what living with passion and dedication is all about, check out people who sing for a living, play sports, musicians, dancers, or anyone who is truly committed to their intention. Rubbernecking Delays


traffic2Have you ever been on a highway backed up by traffic for miles? Ever wonder, what’s the hold up? Slowly you crawl as time ticks away and frustration starts to build. When you finally arrive at the point of curiosity, a police officer has pulled a motorist to the side of the road or there is road work being done and everyone is beginning to slow down while gawking  thus causing rubbernecking delays. At times, it’s something very serious but that’s few and far in between in most cases. After sitting in a car for hours, extremely agitated by the turn of events that unfolded, you finally arrive late to your desired destination. Sounds eerily familiar as I believe this scene is all too common to those of us who drive day after day. Continue reading “Rubbernecking Delays”
