Who is leading the charge?

Who is leading the charge of mankind into battle? The battle for our hearts and minds have been going on for centuries. There is so much hatred in our world today against mother, brother, sister, and friends. Who or what is leading this charge? What are we watching and listening to which shifts our consciousness from love to hatred. Think about it, for in the beginning we were united in love from the first human beings, Adam and Eve. Now we are divided, misled and deceived by the world around us which is constantly changing. So, who is leading this charge of wars, greed by our corporations and deception by our politicians?

Our perception of our present world is changing as industries begin to crumble, malls become desolate and the homeless begin to increase. The middle class is fighting to survive from day-to-day as taxes and bills continue to rise. The poor is getting poorer and the rich of today are becoming the super rich as money keeps trickling to the small minority at the top. Who is leading this charge? Our world is changing at an increased rate due to technology and changing the way business operated in the 20th century. Companies like Amazon which have their tentacles in diverse products and services is continuing to reshape the marketplace to an internet driven business. More and more companies are leaving the brick and mortar type stores and opting to be solely internet based.

I’ve worked in the retail industry for many years, and I don’t need a crystal ball to tell me things are changing. As I walk through the malls, many stores are empty while they are stacked to the ceiling with inventory. This doesn’t mean that they will go out of business although many have not been able to keep up with the competition. However, they will have to rethink their business model in order to compete in the retail climate today.

Who could be leading this charge?  Who or what has altered our perceptions about our reality? We have been controlled and directed to a certain pattern of behavior from birth. We believe we are in control of our thoughts but are we really…

Our world right now if you pay attention is spiraling out of control by our so-called leaders. We don’t live in a bubble but a collective society of thoughts and feelings. Any and everything that goes on in our world impacts us in one way or another. For example terrorism seems to be going from shore to shore.

So I ask again who is leading this charge? There is a battle for our mind which goes unnoticed and what we think about will rule our behavior. Everyone may have their own opinion about who is leading this charge, and I would love it if you leave a comment. But my thoughts are more biblically based.
